President Donald Trump’s executive order to begin immediate construction on the border wall has hit a financial block. The Department of Homeland Security was supposed to use existing funds to begin the construction. The DHS has identified only $20 million that can be re-directed to the project, according to an internal document distributed to Congress last week. Estimates put the cost of the wall at over $20 billion dollars. Bidding on the project does not begin until March 6 but 265 business have listed themselves as interested on the government site.
