The News Unspun is comprised of a team of volunteers with one single mission:
To Summarize the News Without Fluff, Opinion, or Bias.
Andrew is a voracious reader and thinker. He has studied chemistry, where he learned to think critically about almost everything. Andrew has been an educator for longer than he cares to admit, starting with tutoring, secondary education and even as an adjunct professor of physics. He interned in research and business analytics at the same paper notebook company for which James worked. After the notebook stint, he studied data science at one of those highly competitive bootcamps. His passion for good information and clear understanding nudged him into starting The News Unspun.
James is an avid reader of all things political in nature. He holds a degree in Political Science with a minor in Diplomacy & International Relations from Seton Hall University. He is an Emergency Medical Technician and is former President & CEO of a non-profit ambulance company in Northern NJ. Additionally, he served as Head of Operations to a paper notebook startup in NYC and is currently an Administrative Coordinator at an IT startup based in New Jersey. His deep passion for spreading factual information and news has helped him become a driving force for The News Unspun.
